I first met Erik and Ivonne at an open Party & Event Guide meeting downtown Austin. When they were introduced to me, I was standing next to 4 or 5 other wedding videographers. I felt it wouldn’t do me any good to be one more salesmen pitching them in a group so I tried to be polite and brief and didn’t really throw my hat into the ring too aggressively. Some time later they found themselves on my website watching my work and I guess they really connected to it because they wanted to meet with me one on one to see more. I know they had a lot of options, that’s why I’m so honored that they chose me to film one of the most important days of their lives. When Ivonne first emailed me she told me that she and Erik had been together for about 6 years and engaged for 2. She told me that the biggest reason they wanted a wedding film is so they could have something to share with their children some day. I just love clients that think like that! A lot of folks can’t wait to get a video up on Facebook asap to share with friends, but not enough people think about the value that the video will have for their family for decades and generations to come. I really hope that we’ve created something that will be a treasured family heirloom.
